Winners of international sailing competition felicitated

Deputy Prime Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Saturday congratulated the winners of the India International Junior Sailing Championships 2026. Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority organized the competition from January 6 to 9 at Chennai Port. A total of 87 sailors, aged between 12 and 18, from eight countries participated in the competition. Of these, 27 sailors representing India were from Tamil Nadu. The Indian team topped the medal tally with 12 medals, including six gold, three silver and three bronze. Mr. Udhayanidhi congratulated the winners at an event held in Chennai.
