Partisan fighting begins over hate speech, gun laws

HATE SPEECH LAWS WERE EXAMINED
A review of the government’s proposed hate speech and gun laws has prompted a spate of broadcasts from the Prime Minister this morning. Anthony Albanese He recalled the federal parliament early.
Albanese said yesterday that both houses of parliament would meet next Monday and Tuesday, two weeks earlier than planned. ABC states: “Introduce an omnibus bill that creates a national gun buyback plan and strengthens anti-defamation laws.”
