This is thought to be due to their children Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four. Meghan is also expected to want to come to England if her children make the trip.

The source told the Sunday Times:: “I think he was going to come back with her [and the children].

“They like to do things as a family whenever possible, and when they do things as a philanthropic couple they often take the children specifically with them.

“I don’t see any reason why he should come with the kids without him.”

While Meghan wants to keep family memories alive, it is believed that she may be in a difficult situation if she does not visit the UK with Harry and the children, as she does not like to be away from them.

This is something Meghan revealed in an episode of her Netflix show With Love, when she said: “The longest I wasn’t around our kids was almost three weeks. I wasn’t… well.”

It is not yet known whether Harry will bring Meghan, Archie and Lilibet with him when he visits the UK this year.

It is believed this will depend on the outcome of the security review, as the duke has previously claimed the UK is too unsafe for his family to visit. This has been used as the reason behind Harry’s solo trips to the UK since 2022 (the last year his wife and children set foot in his home country).
