Years before his daughter was found dead due to a suspected overdose, Tommy Lee Jones made a move to have his daughter placed in a conservatory.
On August 7, 2023, Tommy Lee petitioned for temporary conservatorship of Victoria Jones. A temporary guardian was appointed on Aug. 21, 2023, according to court records viewed by Fox News Digital.
The “Lincoln” star filed to end the conservatorship on Dec. 13, 2023.

Fox News Digital previously confirmed that Victoria was found dead at the Fairmont San Francisco on January 1, 2026. According to the 911 audio recording, he may have overdosed on drugs.
The San Francisco Fire Department confirmed to Fox News Digital that SFFD units responded to a call from the hotel around 2:52 a.m. on Jan. 1 for a medical emergency. Paramedics arrived at the scene, examined the scene and determined that the unidentified person had died.
The call regarding the incident allegedly involving Victoria was classified as “code 3 for overdose and discoloration,” according to audio recordings obtained by 911. People.

SanFrancisco Fox News Digital confirmed that the Police Department also responded to the scene. Police officers arrived around 3:14 a.m. The deceased has been identified as Victoria, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner told Fox News Digital.
According to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Victoria was arrested in Santa Cruz, California, on May 14, 2025, and charged with public intoxication and resisting a police officer. Documents show Victoria scheduled a pre-trial conference for Jan. 27.

After the news of Victoria’s sudden death was heard, Tommy Lee broke his silence with a statement shared with Fox News Digital.
“Thank you for all the kind words, thoughts and prayers. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you,” the statement signed by the “Victoria Kafka Jones Family” read. it said.
