AP CM Chandrababu Naidu Extends Kanuma Greetings

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the Kanuma festival, highlighting the deep cultural and agricultural significance of the harvest celebration.
In his message, the Prime Minister said Kanuma reminded the society of the sacred bond between farmers and livestock. He defined cattle wealth as the true wealth of the land, inseparable from the lives and livelihoods of farmers. He stated that the festival teaches the sacred duty of worship and animal care, a tradition based on respect for nature and rural life.
Emphasizing the importance of preserving these values, he expressed hope that farmers would continue to move forward while safeguarding this heritage. He added that when animals and birds are looked after with compassion, nature also responds with kindness, blessing the farmer with abundance and prosperity, repeating the age-old blessing “Annadata Sukhibhava”.
Concluding his message, the Prime Minister wished that the Kanuma festival would bring joy, harmony and happiness to every home and that the spirit of celebration would strengthen families and farming communities across the state.
