US Congressman Shows Mirror To Islamabad, Says ‘India Brings Investment, But Pakistan…’ | World News

US Congressman Rich McCormick highlighted India’s growing economic and strategic importance, comparing it to Pakistan and praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s approach to protecting India’s national interests.
Speaking at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), McCormick said that although Pakistan has a population of around 300 million, it has not emerged as a source of investment for the United States. “Pakistan is a country with a population of 300 million, but you don’t see it bringing investments to the United States. India not only receives investments, it also brings investments to the United States,” he said.
The US lawmaker also described Prime Minister Modi as “an ultranationalist in a good way” and said: “Prime Minister Modi is an ultranationalist in a good way. He cares about his country. America hates it when India buys cheap Russian oil. But he does it in the interests of his country.”
