Bo Nix hails Josh Allen as 'a generational talent' before Broncos-Bills playoff clash

The Broncos’ AFC-best regular season record earned Denver a wild card bye. Josh Allen and the Bills cruised past Jacksonville to set up a divisional round matchup with Bo Nix and Denver.
In his first playoff appearance, Nix passed for 144 yards as Denver was defeated by Buffalo. That setback didn’t dull the second-year quarterback’s respect for Allen. Nix told reporters during a media appearance this week that he’s seen the Bills star perform “super heroics” on NFL game days.
“He’s incredible. He’s the league MVP for a reason,” Nix said. “He just keeps making play after play even though he doesn’t look like he can play the game at all. He just goes out there and does superhero stuff.”

Nix also noted Allen’s durability as a key trait that separates the four-time Pro Bowler from many of his peers.
“I think one of the things that sets him apart is his durability, his ability to make play after play at maximum speeds, his peak performance. It’s been a lot of fun to watch him play throughout his career.”
BRONCOS’ BO NIX REVEALS HIS STRATEGY TO FIGHT CRITICISM: ‘I AM DELETING MY SOCIAL MEDIA’
“He looks like he’s been around the league, but he’s been there a while at this point and has been making play after play. He’s just a generational talent. You don’t always see that, how big guys as linebackers can be as athletic as skill players. That’s not normal. He’s got great arm strength, too. It’s one of those things where you can do everything at a high level, and it’s always been fun to watch.”
Nix finished the regular season with a league-high 612 pass attempts and racked up 3,931 yards through the air. The former Oregon standout was also credited with 25 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions in the 2025 season.
