Revealed: Murder-suicide family secret of Traitors PhD brainbox Jade Scott

Jade Scott, a member of the Traitors squad, knows a thing or two about keeping secrets.
But while millions watch the PhD student try to win the BBC One show, he is hiding a heartbreaking family tragedy that deprived him of his youth.
The Daily Mail can reveal that Ms Scott’s mother, Maggie Fung, and her seven-year-old half-sister died by suicide at their home in Tai Kok Tsui, the Kowloon town of Hong Kong, in August 2018.
Both were found dead by firefighters who entered the flat after a domestic worker raised the alarm. Sadly, the mother and daughter were found lying on the bed, unconscious in each other’s arms, and died at the scene. Police found a suicide note in the apartment.
Ms Fung, 44, had recently broken up with her boyfriend and is suspected to have been hit hard by the shock.
Allegedly, Ms. Fung, who worked at a medical clinic, had arranged for the housekeeper to go home for the holidays because she and her daughter were going abroad. But when the worker returned to Hong Kong two days ago, they were unable to contact Ms. Fung and assumed she was still abroad.
