Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell first look in ‘The Madison’ revealed

Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell make their first appearance in the upcoming series “The Madison.”
Before dedicating most of 2026, Pfeiffer filmed the “Yellowstone” spinoff, which is “a heartfelt examination of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana,” according to the show’s synopsis.
In addition to Pfeiffer and Russell, “The Madison” stars Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova and Matthew Fox.

Pfeiffer told Fox News Digital in November that her priorities have changed since she became a grandmother and that she plans to not work as much in 2026.
“I mean, look, I feel very fortunate for the opportunities I’ve been given, and I love the job. In all three of the things I’ve done recently, I’ve worked with incredible actors. Great directors, great material. But little did I know that my daughter was planning to get pregnant, and she did it successfully,” Pfeiffer said.

“And so, I’m working a lot here. So I think I’m probably going to take most of the next year off, which I’m really looking forward to. Look, it’s an embarrassment of riches, frankly. It’s like, ‘Wow.’ I just want to make my choices and make sense of how I spend my time — whatever time I have left over — that’s what I’m focused on.”

In the first photos released, Pfeiffer is seen sitting in a wooden rocking chair on the porch. Pfeiffer’s character, Stacy Clyburn, is described as “the heart of the family.” In the shot, she is holding a book.
In another picture, Pfeiffer can be seen holding a coffee mug and wearing an oversized jacket.
In another image, Russell’s character Preston Clyburn sits on a tree trunk and looks off into the distance. Other photos show Russell fly fishing with Fox on a stream in Montana.

Schnetzer plays Van Davis, a sheriff in Montana. In one of the photos, we see him wearing a vest, a gun, jeans and a sheriff’s hat.

The series’ press release states that “The Madison” is “a profound love story channeled through a deeply personal family drama about resilience and transformation.” It was also mentioned that it was Taylor Sheridan’s “most intimate work to date”.

The series unfolds “while examining the ties that bind families together in two different worlds – the beautiful landscape of Montana and the vibrant energy of Manhattan,” the statement said.
In August 2024, Pfeiffer announced that she had been cast in the series and would also serve as an executive producer.

“The Madison” will mark Pfeiffer’s return to television after starring as Betty Ford in the 2022 Showtime anthology series “The First Lady.”

The first season of “The Madison” consists of six episodes and will premiere on Paramount+ on March 14.
