Vijay to Appear Before CBI Again, Leaves for Delhi

Chennai: TVK chief Vijay left for Delhi on Sunday to appear before the CBI on January 19 in connection with the Karur stampede case. The actor-turned-politician left for the national capital in a chartered flight at 4.15 pm, airport officials said.

Vijay, who was questioned for over six hours at the CBI headquarters here on January 12, was asked to come back the next day, but the actor asked for another date, citing the Pongal harvest festival.
