Man found dead in car, police quiz travel companions

Two men are being questioned by police after they were traveling with an elderly man before he was found dead in a parked car outside a local hospital.
The 93-year-old’s body was found in the backseat of the car outside a hospital in Corowa, on the border of NSW and Victoria, at around 5am on Monday.
The elderly man is believed to have been traveling in a car with Victoria number plates along with a 33-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman.
All three were from Werribee, south-west of Melbourne, Victoria Police said on Tuesday.
NSW Police from the Murray River Police District responded first to the incident before contacting Victoria Police.
Victoria Homicide Detectives took over the investigation on the grounds that the man and his vehicle were linked to Victoria.
The circumstances surrounding the man’s death are still being determined and an autopsy is planned.
