Sledgehammer gang smash way into home to steal £1m of luxury goods | News

A gang of thieves broke into a house in Kimberley, Nottinghamshire, to steal watches and designer bags worth nearly £1 million in a “horrifying” burglary.

Newly released footage shows five masked men breaking into the property on Knowle Road shortly before 7.40pm on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

Some men were armed; one was wielding a sledgehammer, which was used to attack the male victim, and the other was carrying a pickaxe.

His wife was dragged upstairs by the group and had to show them where the valuables were kept.

Crimestoppers is offering up to £7,500 for information they receive solely leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
