Pizza Hut Issues Worldwide Disclaimer
It was a very short-lived celebration, as within a few hours Pizza Hut Pakistan made an official statement separating itself from the organisation. The company announced that the Sialkot store’s Yum! It declared that it was an “unauthorized” store with no legal or operational ties to the company. Brands.
The company stated that “This outlet is not affiliated with the Pizza Hut Pakistan or Yum! brands. It does not adhere to Pizza Hut International recipes, quality protocols, food safety or operational standards.”

The franchise also confirmed that it had filed a complaint with the authorities regarding the misuse of its trademark and branding.
Reaction on Social Media: ‘Fake Minister, Fake Pizza’
This made Khawaja Asif a laughing stock on social media platforms. People were stunned by the incompetence of a federal ministerial authority who allegedly failed to conduct any background checks prior to public participation in a business entity.

“Authorized Stores in Major Cities Only” To avoid confusion among consumers, Pizza Hut Pakistan spokesperson clarified that it operates only 16 outlets across the country, 14 outlets are located in Lahore city and the other two are located in Islamabad.
