The franchise also confirmed that it had filed a complaint with the authorities regarding the misuse of its trademark and branding.

Reaction on Social Media: ‘Fake Minister, Fake Pizza’

This made Khawaja Asif a laughing stock on social media platforms. People were stunned by the incompetence of a federal ministerial authority who allegedly failed to conduct any background checks prior to public participation in a business entity.

“Authorized Stores in Major Cities Only” To avoid confusion among consumers, Pizza Hut Pakistan spokesperson clarified that it operates only 16 outlets across the country, 14 outlets are located in Lahore city and the other two are located in Islamabad.
