CBP K-9 allegedly targeted by anti-ICE agitator in Minneapolis

A Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) K-9 was targeted during ongoing anti-ICE activity in Minneapolis after a kennel worker wrote “ICE OUT” on the dog’s feeding chart, federal authorities said Wednesday.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said anti-ICE agitators in Minneapolis targeted CBP K-9s, including a K-9 named “Dina.”
“At the kennel where K-9 Dina was staying, it was discovered that an employee had written “ICE OUT” on the feeding chart,” DHS said in a social media post. he wrote. “THEY ARE GOING AFTER THE DOGS!”

It is unclear which kennel Dina was staying at and what the current employment status of the employee allegedly responsible is.
Tensions in the blue city flared after 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good was fatally shot Jan. 7 by an ICE agent while she was blocking an operation in Minneapolis and walking toward an agent.

Amid growing protests, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety announced Saturday that the state’s National Guard had been activated at the direction of Gov. Tim Walz and moved to support local law enforcement and emergency management agencies.
Guardsmen have not yet been deployed on city streets but are ready to help support public safety, according to state officials.
