Bhatti Inspects Indiramma Houses in Adilabad

Adilabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka inspected the construction of Indiramma houses and Anganwadi center at Devguda village in Utnoor mandal of Adilabad district on Thursday and interacted with local residents.
During the visit, he reviewed the implementation of various welfare programmes, the quality of nutritious food offered to pregnant women at Anganwadi centres, and the functioning of pre-primary schools opened by the State government. While directing the beneficiaries to maintain the quality of construction and complete the Indiramma houses within the stipulated time, he asked the officials to ensure that there is no delay in the release of funds.
Bhatti also met villagers Laxmi Bai and Gangubai and recalled that they had arranged food for him during the People’s March padayatra in 2023 and highlighted local issues during the yatra. He invited them to Praja Bhavan to spend time with his family and made necessary arrangements for their visit.
Addressing the media, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the government has allocated Rs 17,000 Million after reviving the sub-scheme under the SC and ST sub-scheme, alleging that it was neglected during the previous BRS regime. He said quality power supply was being ensured and advised consumers to call 1912 for assistance on electricity-related matters.
He also announced that tenders will be floated soon for widening of the road between Utnoor and Asifabad under the HAM scheme and said that a bridge has already been approved at Anarpalli in Kerameri mandal.
Later, Bhatti Vikramarka outlined the development and welfare initiatives of the State government at a public meeting at Jangoan village in Jainoor mandal. He said that thousands of crores of loans have been given to women Self Help Groups as part of efforts towards women empowerment.
