COMMENT: “It’s been a big week for Prince Harry, who took the stand in the High Court case against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) and gave emotional evidence about how the publishers had affected his life.

‘Rolled with emotion, he told the court that ANL had “made my wife’s life a complete misery” and described the ordeal as “traumatic”, “horrible” and “fundamentally wrong” to prosecute her and other plaintiffs when all they wanted was accountability.

“It was clear in his evidence last week that Harry resented being born into an institution where he had to tow the family line to ‘never explain, never complain’ and felt unable to challenge what was said about him.”
