Perth is Australia’s second-most expensive capital to rent in. Here’s why
Perth depends on the first time for the second most expensive capital to be rented in the registration and the average price to reach $ 700 a week.
Both Perth and Canberra hit the milestone in June, according to the latest Domain Rent report, only Sydney is $ 780 higher a week and the median remained.
In general, Pert Rent has increased by 0.7 percent since March – the biggest increase in any capital in this quarter.
However, in more positive news for the tenants, this increase is one -fifth of March.
Unit prices throughout the capital are slightly more affordable, $ 620 media per week – 3.3 percent for the quarter and 12.7 percent for the year.
It was the most upright growth of all capitals.
It is also the second highest level that follows Brisbane and Sydney just behind Sydney.
The gap rate was 0.5 percent in June – stressed how the lowest June reading and scarce supply has provided upwards on rents since 2023.
Nicola Powell, Domain’s economy and research chief, said it was difficult to imagine any decrease in the price that occurs until a higher space rate.
