Dress rehearsal and fly shows for the Republic Day cultural shows held on Kartavya Road
Officials said that approximately 2,500 artists who will perform on Kartavya Road during the 77th Republic Day parade took part in the dress rehearsal of their sections on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
They said that the flight event, one of the most important shots of the celebrations on January 26, was also rehearsed.
A total of 29 aircraft — 16 fighter jets including Rafale, Su-30 MKI and Jaguar; Four transport aircraft, including C-295, and nine helicopters will be part of the two-phase flight at the Republic Day parade, with a total of eight formations, a senior Indian Air Force official said earlier.
