Child sex abuse teacher Naomi Tekea Craig’s ‘bombshell’ maternity shoot in Fremantle days before arrest

A Mandurah music teacher who gave birth to her victim’s baby spent her final days of freedom posing for “glamorous” maternity shots at a Fremantle hotspot.

Naomi Tekea Craig, 33, pleaded guilty in court on Tuesday to 15 horrific charges of child sexual abuse, including multiple sexual intercourse.

But just days before his arrest, the Frederick Irwin Anglican School teacher was living a double life as a “birth model”.

In a series of professional snaps, including one taken at Cicerello’s in Fremantle, the 33-year-old was seen posing in tracksuit trousers with a small top that covered her chest.

In other shots, the mum-of-two wore a leopard-print two-piece and zipless zebra-inspired jeans, with one photographer even branding her an “absolute bombshell”.

The Freo photos were uploaded on December 7, less than ten days before he last harassed the young student.

The case reached a new peak when DNA from the placenta confirmed that the newborn born on January 8 belonged to the underage victim.

Craig, who is married with another child, appeared via audio link at the Mandurah Magistrates Court, where the matter was quickly transferred to the District Court for sentencing in March.

He is currently out on bail but banned from unsupervised contact with any child under 18, other than his newborn baby.
