Moment roof collapses at a rodeo arena due to snow

Surveillance video shows the moment the roof of the Saline County Fairgrounds rodeo arena in Benton, Arkansas, collapsed under the weight of snow and sleet. The blanket of snow covering the arena was the result of a winter storm that hit parts of the United States, killing scores and leaving thousands without power.

There were no injuries as a result of the roof collapse. The county and the fair board will begin planning for a new arena that will relocate planned events and serve as a hub for agriculture and rodeo youth programs.
