Madonna has written an impassioned love letter to an unlikely seaside town in the UK, describing how she visits the area regularly and connects with its growing arts community. The singer shared the message with his followers and explained why the town means so much to him.

Posting the full message on Instagram, she wrote: “Dame Tracey is a Safe Pearl. A precious necklace wrapped around the seaside town of Margate, England. I have known Tracey for over 25 years and have always been a fan of her deeply personal and provocative work. But what she has created in this seaside community is quite remarkable.”
“It has an artist-in-residence program where it invites young artists from around the world to come and paint and live for a few months, an artist who would otherwise have no place to paint and develop their talents and be part of the many exhibitions that take place around Margate. “I’ve been there a few times and I’m always impressed by the dedication and passion of all these artists.
“I’m hungry, embraced and extremely grateful for this opportunity. They all have such touching stories to share and honestly it’s so refreshing to witness them work so dedicatedly. Not only that, but the whole town seems bursting with creativity and energy.”
“Writers and performing artists, photographers and painters. That’s my idea of heaven. Every time I go there I feel like I’ve walked into a dream. Best of all, I eat at my favorite Italian restaurant, whose name I don’t tell anyone because then everyone will go there and there’s only one table there!!
“It’s nice to share something in the news that isn’t about hate and murder, but celebrates human connection and the ability of Art to uplift people. Bringing people together.”

There are also well-known tourist attractions such as the Shell Grotto and the Tudor House. The town’s theatres, including the Winter Gardens and the Theater Royal, have hosted great artists for over a century.
