Appeal after £10,000 stolen from man at Paddington train station

The British Transport Police (BTP) released images of the suspects after £ 10,000 in a man’s bag at the Paddington Train Station in London.

The 49 -year -old man joined the station on Friday, June 20 at around 9.30 and boarded the train.

It is understood that three women follow the man before crossing the car and moving on the opposite end.

The man noticed that a £ 10,000 in an envelope disappeared from the backpack after sitting on the train.

BTP published images of women they believe that they could help their investigations.

Everyone who knows women are asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, reference 170/20th June.

According to Transport for London (TFL), theft continues to be the most common crime in public transport in the capital, and 22,816 theft crime is between April 2024 and March 2025.

This is an increase in 1,170 crimes compared to the previous year and constitutes approximately 48 percent of the total number of 47,964 crimes.
