Bengaluru: Eight PGs sealed, over 570 receive notices

A total of 574 paying guest (PG) accommodations received awareness notices from Central Corporation following inspections across company boundaries to verify whether PGs were complying with established guidelines.

In total, eight PGs were sealed for failing to maintain proper kitchen hygiene. The company also imposed penalties of ₹3.09 lakh during the month-long exercise for various violations and deficiencies reported at PGs in Shantinagar, CV Raman Nagar, Gandhinagar, Shivajinagar, among other areas.
