Octagon heads to Doha as UFC to make Qatar debut this November

Known for increasingly as a global sports center, Doha will host some of UFC’s best skills in the octagon. The event reinforces the importance of the region in the international strategy of UFC by following successful cards in Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia. The matches on the UFC Doha card are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
“I said that we will always take UFC to the whole world – and Qatar is the next stop.” He said.
“They have already hosted the World Cup and Formula 1, and now we bring a UFC fighting night. Our fights in the Middle East are always incredibly incredibly, so I can’t wait to go there.”
Qatar will be the third Middle East country that hosts a UFC event and is joining Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia as key places in the growing regional footprint of the promotion. Abu Dhabi has long been a fundamental stone for UFC, which hosted the iconic ‘Fight Island’ series during Covid-19 pandemi.
Saudi Arabia left a mark on the two UFC fighting night event in February, when Nassourdine Imavov stunned Israel with a knocked victory in UFC Fight Night 250 in UFC Fight Night 250.
In November, the announcement of UFC’s output of the Doha exit was followed by the recently confiscated UFC 321 planned at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on 25 October.
The next Middle East event of UFC, former champion Robert Whittaker, seized Reenier de Ridder at UFC 9’s main event, was adjusted later on this month.
The high -profile match will take place on July 26 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, and this November will continue to exist in the region before the date of History in Qatar.
