Prince Harry is ‘trapped in the past’ as Royal Family divide ‘absolute’ | Royal | News

Although Harry therefore spent much of last week in London to give his evidence and witness the start of the trial, this did not see him meet any royal relatives. This was despite the fact that his estranged brother, Prince William, was only a short drive away at some points. Although William, 43, and his wife, Princess Catherine, 44, were in Scotland while Harry was in London, they had both returned to their home at Forest Lodge in Windsor at the time. It’s a short drive from London, where Harry is staying.
While the siblings may have met, a royal expert and author said they still remain estranged; which isn’t helped by the fact that Harry is stuck in the past and “healing old wounds” as seen in the current case, he said.
I’m talking to Hello! magazineRoyal writer Robert Jobson tells HELLO!: “Yes, they were in the same country, but it was like they were worlds apart.
“While William and Kate embody the future of the monarchy, Harry appears stuck in the past
“William is there doing his job, serving, while Harry is still fighting yesterday’s battles while nursing old wounds in court. The gulf is now absolute, and Harry’s distance from his family is no longer measured in miles.”
This comes despite the 77-year-old King and Harry meeting in September and appearing to have gotten their relationship back on good terms.
The monarch probably would not have wanted to see his youngest son while the case was ongoing.
The King is also believed to have a busy schedule which sees him spending a significant part of the week away from London.
