Trump Says He Hopes for Iran Deal after Khamenei Warns of Regional War
Washington: US President Donald Trump said on Sunday he hoped to reach a deal with Iran after Iran’s supreme leader warned that any US attack on the Islamic Republic would trigger a regional war.
When asked about Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s warning, Trump told reporters: “Of course he will say that.
“I hope we can make a deal. If we don’t, then we’ll find out if he’s right.”
