Libs will discover if the answer is Angus Taylor, it’s a dumb question

Here’s a confident prediction: Andrew Hastie will lead the Liberals into the next election, no matter what comes of the nonsense of the next few weeks.

From the moment Angus Taylor topples Sussan Ley, his fatal flaws will be revealed and the clock will begin to tick on his leadership, as it has on Ley since May. At some point in 2027 Taylor will step aside to make room for a person who can turn the party’s fortunes around and start winning back the right-wing voters the Liberals have lost by the truckload since May.
