2026 Assembly Polls Charged up Due to TVK Entry: Vijay tells Cadres
Chennai: Actor-politician Vijay on Monday claimed that the political atmosphere in Tamil Nadu has increased due to the entry of TVK and urged the party cadres to strive for victory and gain political recognition in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. With overwhelming support from the people, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam members must fight the electoral struggle with determination and unity to “achieve the democratic goal of taking over the reins of governance”, he said.
Vijay launched TVK on February 2, 2024.
In his post on the ‘X’ programme, Vijay said, “TVK’s joyful third year begins today. Our political journey, which has completed two years beyond the natural and normal, continues.”
He claimed that TVK was an “immeasurably deep sea” that ignored distractions and never lost its balance in its political journey. Vijay claimed that the party was the “victorious battle cry of power politics for the people”.
He said the 2026 Assembly elections bring a new environment that has never been seen before.
“Everyone says the only reason for this is our political beginning. So in this case, let’s make the field our own, move towards political recognition through electoral victory with a clear and skillful strategy,” the actor said. he said.
Vijay also said, “With the overwhelming support of the entire people, let us fight with determination and unity and firmly achieve the democratic goal of capturing the throne.” he said.
