A 10-year-old girl died when the car she was driving with her father was opened fire on her way to her cousin’s birthday party. The girl, Sophia Loren Soares Camilo, was shot six times when an armed man approached her and her father on a street in the family’s neighborhood.

Unfortunately, Sophia’s life could not be saved.
