A major UK theme park has given the first look at its new Paw Patrol attraction. The new £15 million immersive experience will open this spring and feature four thrilling rides.
Chessington World of Adventures in Surrey will feature the UK’s first Paw Patrol-themed land. World of Paw Patrol will feature Chase’s Mountain Quest, Skye’s Helicopter Heroes, Marshall’s Fire Truck Rescue and Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure rides. In addition to posting pictures of the attraction, the theme park is also looking for a fan to become the “PAWject Manager” of the new attraction.
The new images show Paw Patrol character Rubble overseeing construction of the site alongside Merlin Magic Making’s Creative Director Sian Hooper. The themed area will span 1.4 acres and feature four exciting rides.
Chase’s Mountain Missue, an entry-level roller coaster, will offer visitors the chance to ride a high-speed rescue vehicle to help Chase and Everest. Skye’s Helicopter Heroes, meanwhile, will see visitors board a helicopter before taking to the skies and providing stunning panoramic views.
Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure will be the UK’s first ‘Drifter’ ride, where visitors will board a flying ship. Finally, Marshall’s Fire Truck Rescue is perfect for younger visitors, who can ride in a bright red fire truck before making their way through the streets of Adventure Bay.
Sian Hooper said: “Bringing World of PAW Patrol to life is a true labor of love. From the first drawings to seeing the iconic Watchtower rise above Chessington, our aim was to capture the magic, energy and teamwork that millions of families have come to know and admire from the show.
“Each ride is designed to make guests feel like they’re stepping into Adventure Bay—whether they’re swinging and sliding with Zuma or soaring through the skies with Skye. We can’t wait for families to join the patrol this spring and create their own pup memories.”
Organizers are also looking for a “PAWject Manager” ahead of the official opening this spring. This role will give a fan the chance to give “final approval” to the area before it opens to the public.
The PAWject Administrator will also be the first to test the vehicles and have the chance to meet their heroes. The winner will receive tickets for their family to attend the launch event, a night in one of five PAW Patrol themed hotel rooms in Chessington, and other PAW Patrol goodies.
