Truth behind Donald Trump skipping Super Bowl LX as concerns leaked | NFL | Sport

The 79-year-old player cited distance as the main reason he missed the matchup between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. “It’s so far away,” he said last month.
“I would. [gotten] great hands [at] Super Bowl. They like me,” Trump said. “If he was a little shorter, I’d go.”
Trump also took aim at the event’s performers, Bad Bunny and Green Day. “I am against them,” he said.
“I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. It’s terrible.”
But the real motivation behind the decision to stay away from California appears to stem from concerns expressed by some advisors. They believed the risk of the ‘big league’ being booed was serious Zeteo.
The potential for harm from viral social media images and negative press coverage was particularly concerning. But the White House maintained that Trump would receive a warm welcome.
Speaking on Friday, the US President said: “I didn’t make a mistake.”
After widespread condemnation, the task was assigned to a staff member. The images were withdrawn hours after press secretary Karoline Leavitt dismissed the concerns as “fake outrage”.
Mr. Trump has a history of attacking Mr. Obama and has used inflammatory, occasionally racist language before. A spokesman for the former Democratic president confirmed he would not comment on the matter.
The images were released during the opening week of Black History Month. This follows the US President’s recent statements about the “contribution of black Americans to our national greatness” and the “American principles of freedom, justice and equality”.
Addressing reporters as he boarded Air Force One on Friday evening, Mr. Trump claimed the footage was about election fraud. “I liked the beginning. I saw it and passed it on, and I think no one probably reviewed the ending,” he explained.
When asked if he condemned the racist elements in the images, Trump replied, “Of course I did.”
