Iran warns it would ‘target US bases’ if American forces attacked: report

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned on Saturday that Tehran would “target US bases” in the region if American forces launched an attack.
This statement came after Araghchi said on Friday that indirect nuclear talks with the US in Oman were a “good start” and that there was “agreement” that the talks would continue.
“It would not be possible to attack American territory, but if Iran is attacked by US forces, we will target its bases in the region,” Araghchi told Al Jazeera on Saturday. According to Reuters.
“We will not attack neighboring countries; instead, we will target US bases located there. There is a big difference between the two.” he added.
