Meghan Markle surprised royal fans when she stepped out for a red carpet event without her husband Prince Harry by her side on Saturday night. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, was all smiles while attending the Fifteen Percent Pledge Fundraising Gala.

The gala, held at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, aims to celebrate black-owned businesses. Founded by Aurora James, the Fifteen Percent Pledge supports these businesses by providing access to capital, mentoring, skills training and partnership opportunities with other companies.

Meghan looked delighted to attend the premiere in a stunning gown thought to have been designed by Harbison Studio.
