King Charles said to be ‘containing’ Andrew by moving him to Norfolk estate

Sources say King Charles moved his brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to his Norfolk estate in a bid to “contain” him.

Andrew has been at the center of a new scandal following the release of the latest batch of documents relating to Jeffrey Epstein after he was stripped of his royal title late last year.

On Monday, he moved from the Royal Lodge at Windsor to the King’s Sandringham estate while his permanent estate undergoes renovations.

“The king feels he has no choice but to provide for his brother, which will be privately financed from a private estate,” a source said told Times.

“Every time he tried to support himself by independent means, it led to bigger problems. Keeping him under control is hope.”

The revelations were reported to be “shocking and distressing”, and royal sources described Andrew as “unstable”.

The king promised to fund Andrew indefinitely using private funds, and his security was also paid for by him.

The King was “very aware of public feelings”, his friend said, after King Charles and Queen Camilla were quizzed about Andrew on a street tour.

The man shouted: “Charles, Charles, did you put pressure on the police to start investigating Andrew?”

“He does not need to be pressed to understand the mood of the nation,” the king’s friend continued. “To speed it up [Andrew] The final exit from the Royal Lodge was another nod to show that he understood this. “The plan made is not the plan put into effect, and the King wanted that plan to be implemented as soon as possible.”

They added: “The King feels that keeping his brother out of the public eye and out of any public expenditure is the right thing to do. Andrew is no longer a burden on the public purse and the King has done all he can to remove him from the public eye, but the truth is that he cannot remove him from the public consciousness.”

There is no suggestion that being featured in the files constitutes a criminal offence, and people featured in previous releases have denied any illegal behavior involving Epstein.

Among the latest revelations during the latest release of the Epstein files, it was revealed that Andrew invited his disgraced financier to Buckingham Palace for dinner and “a lot of privacy” years after he was convicted of sex crimes.

Epstein responded: “I’m already in London [sic]. at what time? [sic] You like me and we will/will need some private time too.” It is unclear whether a meeting was held at the palace.

The latest release also included images showing Andrew getting on all fours over a woman on the ground. It is not clear where and when the photos were taken, and the woman’s face is hidden.
