Speaking to NBC, Trump said: ‘I’ll probably sit in Palm Beach, depending on what happens. You know, in my position in this job, sometimes you have to move fast, very fast.

‘But we’ll be watching it – probably at Mar-a-Lago or one of them – at one of my clubs with a lot of people, a lot of friends. Or I could very well be in the White House.’

As for a prediction, Trump refrained from picking a winner. He continued: ‘I think it will be a great match. You know, I love both parts of our country very much. I’d better not make any guesses.

‘You’ve gotten yourself into big trouble. But I really think it’ll be a great game.’
