Telangana : Fire breaks out at Hyderabad’s Attapur car showroom; no injuries reported

A fire broke out at a car showroom in Attapur in the early hours of Tuesday, February 10, 2026. No casualties or injuries were reported. As a precautionary measure, approximately 90 residents living in a neighboring apartment were evacuated.
According to an official from Fire Control, a distress call was received at 1.44 am following which two fire trucks from Rajendranagar were rushed to the spot. Fire engulfed Adarsha Automotives Pvt Ltd located near Column 185 in Rajendranagar.
A team of nine people, consisting of six firefighters and three officers, intervened in the fire and brought it under control in approximately 45 minutes. In the incident, two vehicles became completely unusable, while the other two vehicles suffered partial damage.
Rajendranagar Station Fire Officer Chandra Naik said preliminary investigation suggested that the fire might have been caused by a fire lit by someone outside the exhibition hall and was not caused by electricity. “Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage around the showroom to confirm this,” he said.
While an investigation has been launched into the incident, the investigation continues to determine the exact cause of the fire.
