Hyderabad CP Warns Against Bike Stunts

Hyderabad: Hyderabad police commissioner VC Sajjanar said on Tuesday that performing dangerous stunts on a bike and putting the lives of pillion riders at risk is a crime under the law. “Don’t get in trouble by suing,” he said in a post on his social media account.
“Bicycle stunts… Ruining the life of a hundred-year-old! Watching these strange stunts on the road can be exciting; it can kick your ass in an instant,” Sajjanar said. “Remember that even a minor accident can leave you lying in bed for the rest of your life. Not only that, you can also endanger others because of yourself,” the commissioner said.
“Don’t ruin your golden future because of likes on social media or heroics on the road. Drive responsibly,” he said. An official said police were trying to identify people who were endangering the lives of other passengers by demonstrating.
