A 17-year-old schoolgirl was attacked and raped by her father’s employee before being attacked by pigs. Milena Shevelyova was attacked by 42-year-old Igor Zykov, who worked on his father’s farm in the Krasnoyarsk region of Russia.
Prosecutors said Zykov attacked the teenager in the barn, then left him in the pigsty, where he later died of serious injuries after being attacked by animals. According to court testimony, Zykov had a long-standing grievance against Milena’s employer, her father, and had planned to set fire to the farm.
Instead, he encountered Milena feeding the pigs and attacked her in what investigators described as a vodka-fueled attack. He then stole his mobile phone and left the scene.
The court statement said: “Zykov attacked the girl, stole her mobile phone and left her in a pig house with bleeding wounds after the girl lost consciousness from the blows.
“The pigs reacted to the blood and started attacking the girl.”
Forensic evidence presented at trial supported violent sexual assault, as well as murder and burglary, charges that Zykov denied. He later told investigators he destroyed evidence, including the victim’s phone and the bat used in the attack.

In the court statement, it was stated that Zykov left the injured young man unconscious in the pig shed where the animals attacked him. He died from severe blood loss before help could arrive.
Milena’s parents were away at the time and when they were unable to contact her they raised the alarm. Her boyfriend, 18-year-old Vladimir Bedny, noticed her and went to the emergency room, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Locals saw Milena’s boyfriend light his torch before encountering the “horrifying scene on the ground,” local media outlet NGS24 reported.
“Her boyfriend ran outside vomiting and screaming for help,” they said.
Zykov, who was previously convicted of murdering his brother, was given permission to work on the farm after serving his previous sentence. He was found guilty of murder, violent sexual acts and theft.
A neighbor described Milena as “a kind and caring child who always helped her parents,” while her boyfriend later wrote online that she “will forever remain in my heart.”
Zykov was sentenced to 23 years in a strict penal colony after being found guilty of murder, violent sexual acts and theft.
