Wipro is giving salary hikes to all its employees from March 1, providing much-needed relief to its workforce as the raises were postponed in September, according to an internal email from the company.
However, the percentage of the raises was not immediately stated.
Indian IT services companies are cautious about salary hikes and payment of variable components this fiscal due to uncertain business conditions further accentuated by tariff wars and geopolitical turmoil.
TCS postponed the raises from April to September, while Cognizant finally increased salaries from November after delaying it in August. TCS has given a raise of 4.5 to 7 percent to the majority of employees.
The company did not respond to a request for comment when reached. Business Standard.
Wipro has also provided 100 per cent quarterly variable pay to employees for the third quarter ending December 31, 2025, to be given along with their February salaries. While raises were postponed, the company was generous with variable pay. Even in the first two quarters, all employees were paid over 90 percent.
