Congress Maintains Dominance in Telangana Municipal Polls

The Congress party continues to maintain its upper hand in the Telangana municipal elections, securing victory in most of the municipalities where results have been declared so far.

Congress Nereducharla, Huzurnagar, Haliya, Kodad, Nandikonda, Chandur, Bhoothpur, Dharmapuri, Bhimgal, Bichkunda, Banswada, Yellareddy, Choppadandi, Sultanabad, Manthani, Husnabad, Maripeda, Dornakal, Narayankhed, Aswaraopet, Ghanpur Station, Andole-Jogipet, Sadasivpet, He gained victory at Huzurabad. Kollapur, Maddur, Pebberu and Madhira.

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) won in Gaddapotharam, Indresham, Aiza, Thorrur, Ibrahimpatnam and Thirumalagiri.

All India Forward Bloc secured Vaddepalli municipality.

Meanwhile, many municipalities including Devarakadra, Alampur, Kohir, Kesamudram, Asifabad, Amarachintha, Kythanpalli, Jangaon, Jinnaram, Jammikunta, Vemulawada and Rayikal witnessed pending results.
