Trump sends world’s largest aircraft carrier to Middle East after Netanyahu warned: ‘Iran plays games’

Sources confirmed on Friday; In a major show of power, the United States is sending the world’s largest aircraft carrier to the Middle East.

The nuclear-powered behemoth will strengthen American forces already deployed in the region as Washington ramps up its military presence to a formidable new level.

The deployment of the USS Gerald R. Ford, a $13 billion floating fortress, is a clear signal of intent, effectively doubling the U.S. Navy’s carrier strike force in the region.

The move adds significant military weight to President Donald Trump’s efforts to pressure Iran to reach a new deal on its nuclear program.

Instead, a senior Iranian security official visited Oman and Qatar this week to exchange messages with US intermediaries rather than direct dialogue.

The deployment of the USS Gerald R. Ford will place two American aircraft carriers and their accompanying warships in the region simultaneously.

The massive ship and its strike group are set to join the USS Abraham Lincoln and its fleet of guided missile destroyers currently patrolling the Arabian Sea.

USS Gerald R. Ford, currently located in the Caribbean, is expected to take up to four weeks to reach the region.

USS Abraham Lincoln and its strike group are currently stationed out of Iran.

The arrival window aligns perfectly with the high-stakes ultimatum President Trump issued Thursday. Trump has set a deadline to finalize the deal by next month and warned that he was ready to ‘change course’ if talks fail to materialize.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Netanyahu’s meeting influenced Trump to take a stronger position against Iran, a senior administration official told the Daily Mail.

‘Netanyahu basically said Iran is playing a game. You don’t want to be played. Trump listened.”

The last time the US had two naval ships in the region occurred during most of the war between Hamas and Israel over Gaza.

Although Trump’s threat loomed over diplomatic talks, the President claimed that Iran ‘wanted to make a very bad deal’ and that the latest talks were much more serious than previous negotiations.

“They didn’t believe I was going to do it last time,” Trump said of his decision to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities in the summer.

“They overplayed their hands,” the president added, before noting that the talks were “very different” this time.

At the center of diplomatic talks is the United States’ demand that Iran end its uranium enrichment program. Trump also said he wants a deal that would include Iran’s ballistic missile stockpile in the future.

Netanyahu plans to pitch to Trump what he calls the ‘restoration’ of Iran’s ballistic missile program; Middle East experts claim that this move is part of a persuasion campaign to attack Iran.

Tehran, meanwhile, insisted it would not give up its uranium enrichment.

“We can make a big deal with Iran,” Trump said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Washington DC on Tuesday night to meet with the President.

Trump says Netanyahu is not nervous about negotiations because ‘He also wants a deal. He wants a good deal.”
