Radiator blast triggers massive explosion at laboratory in Choutuppal, no casualties reported

It was reported that a massive explosion occurred following a radiator explosion in a laboratory in Choutuppal of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Friday night, February 13, 2026. No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
The fire broke out at Brundavan Laboratories Pvt Ltd in Choutuppal’s Yellagiri village. According to an official from Fire Control, a distress call was received around 10 pm, following which ten fire trucks were sent to the scene. The response included a hazardous materials rescue vehicle, a specialized fire engine designed to handle emergencies involving chemical, biological or radioactive materials, as well as a robotic unit to assist with the operation.
Fire extinguishing efforts continued until 03.30 until the fire was completely under control. Around 60-70 fire personnel participated in the operation. Officials said that the exact cause of the explosion and the extent of material damage have not yet been determined.
Although the fire was completely extinguished, two fire trucks were placed at the facility for emergency support as a precaution. Further investigation is ongoing.
