Man dead following western Sydney stabbing

A man is dead and another is in hospital following a stabbing in Sydney’s west on Sunday afternoon.

Despite the intervention of medical teams, the 34-year-old young man died at the scene.

Emergency services were called to the Waitaki Street unit in Lethbridge Park following reports of a stabbing just before 2pm.

A 25-year-old man was also treated for stab wounds and taken to hospital in stable condition.
