Boy, 9, hospitalised after allegedly being shot while on hunting trip north of Bourke, NSW

A child was taken to hospital after allegedly shot during a hunting trip near Bourke overnight.
Police, a 9 -year -old child on Friday night after the fiery weapon injured in the right thigh began to investigate.
He was taken to Bourke Hospital at 19.15 that night.
The officers of the Central Northern Police Region were told that they were injured on a hunting trip with nine people on a property about 40 km north of Bourke.
A NSW police spokesman said, “The police spoke with a group of four men between the ages of nine to 15 and five men aged 37 to 63 years. All Victoria.” He said.
17 firearms were seized, including air rifles, rifles and hunting rifles.
Questions related to the incident and the group’s firearms licenses are continuing.
