Prince William could have saved the monarchy with latest admission | Royal | News

Prince William is the prince of today and his latest personal confession is very likely to boost support for the monarchy once again. This week, the Prince of Wales stepped away from his usual royal engagements and instead appeared in a pre-recorded episode of Radio 1’s Life Hack alongside host Greg James, rapper Professor Green and representatives of the mental health charity.

During the episode, which aimed to raise awareness about men’s mental health, William spoke in a way that could only be described as refreshing. Not only did she fire off statistics and common quotes, she also spoke from the heart and acknowledged how important mental health help is. He admitted he had also faced challenges before, particularly while working as an air ambulance pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) between March 2015 and July 2017.

While the radio segment may not appeal to everyone, I think William’s honest and open admissions about his mental health this week could save the monarchy.

Why did you ask? Because it highlighted one of the most important bonds to remember when it comes to the Royal Family.

Yes, they may have Palaces, staff, state banquets, and all kinds of privileges that others cannot have, but they are still people. And not only that, they are humans with feelings and emotions just like us.

While many of us of course already know and understand this, it is yet another reminder to some that the Royal Family is not so different from the rest of us.

And while the future king is talking about mental health, what better way to appeal to the younger generation who are increasingly aware of the mental health issues that exist around the world?

I mean, if the Prince of Wales has his “bad days”, then doesn’t that make us all feel like it’s okay to not feel perfect all the time?

In this episode, William’s honesty about his own bad days, his methods of self-control, and how he feels will no doubt resonate with people all over the world.

And as a royal expert, I think this is very important. Because whether we are a prince, a politician, a supermarket owner or anyone else, we all have our own struggles. And we can all help each other.

Yes, he may be the future King, but he truly understands the problems we all face from time to time. This is exactly what we need from a future monarch, especially one who may one day need to rescue the monarchy from the turbulence it has experienced for years.
