Sandeep Shrivastava assumed office as Vice-Chancellor of KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER) Deemed to be a University, Belagavi on February 20.
KAHER Chancellor Prabhakar Kore, in the presence of KAHER officials, Dr. He welcomed Shrivastava.
Dr. Shrivastava is an orthopedic surgeon with a doctorate in Health Professional Education.
He has more than three decades of distinguished experience in academic leadership, research management, and clinical practice. He previously served as executive director (global affairs) and chief scientific officer at the Datta Meghe Institute for Higher Education and Research (DMIHER) in Wardha, where he led international collaborations with world-renowned institutions such as Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Weill Cornell Medical School and the University of Sydney. He assumes leadership responsibilities to further strengthen academic excellence, research initiatives and institutional development at KAHER, a statement said.
