Sarah Ferguson strikes off seventh company day after Andrew’s arrest | Royal | News

Sarah Ferguson has filed to close down the seventh company she owns, the day after her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on suspicion of abuse of public office. This comes after six of his other companies also applied to be struck off the Companies House register earlier this week; This means they will be closed soon if no objections are made.

His seventh company, Coat Company Production Ltd, was the subject of the latest request. Six more people filed for dismissal earlier in the week: La Luna Investments Limited, Planet Partners Production Limited, S. Phoenix Events Limited, Fergie’s Farm Limited, Philanthrepreneur Ltd and Solamoon Limited.

The companies appear to have been set up as vehicles for her career as a speaker and brand ambassador, as well as a way to allow her to build her own lifestyle brand.

Coat Company Production LTD was announced to focus on feature film production activities and Sarah was appointed director in 2018.

Sarah previously served as a producer on the acclaimed film The Young Victoria, which starred Emily Blunt and Rupert Friend, about the early reign of Queen Victoria and her marriage to Prince Albert.

He also produced the television series of the children’s book Budgie the Little Helicopter and the 2024 film An American in Austen, in which Sarah plays the role of ‘The Duchess’.

The business recorded a loss of £111 in 2025, according to Companies House’s latest balance sheet.

News of another Sarah company closure follows the shocking arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on his 66th birthday yesterday. The former Duchess has not yet gone into hiding and her whereabouts are unknown, although she is not thought to be in the UK.

When the news was made public, King Charles made a statement. It began: “I learned with deep concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and the suspicion of misconduct in public office.

“There is now a full, fair and proper process to ensure that this matter is investigated appropriately and by the relevant authorities. As I have said before, we have our full and wholehearted support and cooperation on this matter.

“Let me be clear: The law needs to take its course. As this process continues, it would not be appropriate for me to comment further on this matter. In the meantime, my family and I will continue our duty and service to all of you. Charles R.”

Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
