Revenue increased in the months that followed, rising from $9.6 billion in March to $23.9 billion in May. According to Treasury data, total tax collections reached $215.2 billion in the 2025 fiscal year ending September 30, 2025. The upward trend has continued in fiscal 2026, with revenues already running above last year’s pace.

The Supreme Court decision creates new uncertainty about the future of tariffs and how the Trump administration will respond. The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
