A British mother was killed in front of her family when the minibus they were in crashed into the back of a truck on a Spanish motorway.
The 42-year-old woman died following a tragic accident on the A-7 motorway in Totana, Murcia, on Saturday.

He was taken to the nearby Virgen de la Arrixaca hospital. While a 40-year-old man and a 7-year-old girl were also injured in the accident, it was stated that the injuries were less serious.
The two drivers in the cabin of the truck, who were slightly injured, were treated.
Footage from the scene shows large, crushed pieces of the minibus lying on the road and broken glass surrounding the crash site.
Spanish authorities described the incident as ‘extremely serious’ and stated that a person was thrown from the minibus during the collision and was found lying on the road.
Emergency service teams, including Guardia Civilian traffic officers, firefighters and ambulances, were sent to the scene of the accident.

Firefighters were kept ready in case anyone could be rescued from the rubble.
The accident caused traffic to increase by about a mile, and the right lane of the highway was temporarily closed.
While the investigation into the matter continues, it was stated that distraction may have been effective in the incident.
