M1 traffic LIVE: Two-vehicle crash with several lanes closed | UK | News

Motorists on a busy section of the M1 are facing potential traffic chaos this afternoon after a minibus overturned in the middle of the motorway. The incident occurred on the southern boundary of the M1, between junction 25 (Nottingham/Derby) and junction 26 (Nottingham).

As a result, 1, 2 and 3 of the 4 lanes were closed, as well as the hard shoulder. Highway camera footage shows a minivan lying on its side in the middle of the highway. The other picture shows the heavy traffic approaching the accident. National Highways East Midlands has warned motorists could face disruption during the busy afternoon rush hour.
